Biography

My name is Katlyn Williamson and I’m talking a break from my full time job as an interventional radiology tech to pursue my art career and learn balance. I’m newer to the art scene but have such a passion for creating that I feel a need to share it with the world.

I paint women because I think women are beautiful and they don’t get enough credit or respect in the world as it is. I feel like I want the world to see women as I see them. Mysterious, colorful and vibrant.. yet all different with underlying similarities. I make abstract art. But it’s still very much conceptual as well. Some of them have very obvious faces and some of them don’t. Some kinda fade into the background and some stand out.. but that’s how people are and how their personalities differ in general. That’s how I see women. Everybody is different.
