Biography

Composing vibrant colors, bold shapes, and unique textures, artist McGehee Brown III draws his inspiration from the exuberant streets, and sounds of his childhood home, New Orleans. Since childhood, McGehee has been creating art in many mediums, but finds himself specializing in 2D abstract paintings as his skills have become refined. Characterized by his modern and geometric portraits, his intuitive use of non-traditional media lends itself to the depth and dimension of his art. Currently creating in his second home, Winston Salem, McGehee is a proud father of 5 and a Chef by trade, working with many of the best loved restaurants in the area.
