Biography
Holly is a preschool teacher by day and an artist by night. She often processes the day's “big emotion” moments from the children as she creates the many layers of her work. Often described as happy, joy-filled, and playful; her art is inspired by her daily experiences with the preschoolers who are both inquisitive and unencumbered with their imaginations. Holly takes pride in the art that is created; however, she finds the process of creating the most satisfying. The use of different mediums allows her to learn new techniques, create depth in each piece and add layers of joy.
A North Carolina native who currently lives with her husband in the historic Ardmore neighborhood of Winston Salem, she has two adult children and is enjoying her empty nest. Holly’s creativity was set aside for 25 years for the roller coaster called life. She was inspired by another WSNC artist to start up again, and an explosion of color and love has followed.
