Biography

Born in 1976, in Chandigarh city of India, Raman Bhardwaj studied BFA in applied art and MA in History of Art. Professionally he started his career as a newspaper illustrator but continued his passion for painting and drawing and held 5 solo exhibitions in India and one in Oslo, Norway. He works primarily in figurative genre in a linear style. He works with charcoal, oils and acrylics and loves to draw human figures with anatomical beauty. But he keeps a sketchy look to the figures and uses forceful strokes. Raman is based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
