Biography
Lauren Wilson is a self-taught abstract artist living in Winston-Salem, NC. Wilson started experimenting with abstract expression shortly after moving to Winston-Salem seven years ago. She works with acrylics on canvas using her hands and other nearby objects. She also enjoys painting blown up caricatures of well known identities on recycled cardboard/paper surfaces. Wilson works from her in-home studio and is constantly inspired by the mysteries of nature, spirituality, and music.
