Biography

Professional architect, life long musician, and old artist from a family of artists. Although always creating on some level, his growing, focused interest with painting has clear architectural roots but also something a bit sci-fi and whimsical twists. Color is subtle and purposefully atmospheric. The shapes, and some inner spirit, express themselves with imagination. Napkin sketches and ordered watercolors, to acrylics, to wall sculptures – a theme ties them together.

Kevin Owen is a native of Winston-Salem, he's inspired by kindness, compassion, intelligence and love, above all else, love. “I know not all that may be coming, but be what it will, I'll go to it laughing…” (Herman Melville).
