Biography

Lifelong artist. Born and raised in Southern Illinois. Earned a BFA in Visual Communications at Southern Illinois University, but fell in love with pottery there. Moved to North Carolina about 10 years ago. With the encouragement from a fellow artist/(ex)co-worker, I have recently gotten back into pottery and have been enjoying classes at the Sawtooth School. I make both sculptural and functional pottery, handbuilt and wheel. I am very much looking forward to exploring the art community in this area.
