Biography

Drawing much of her inspiration from the natural beauty of the Carolinas, Melinda Allen is an oil painter with a focus on landscapes and seascapes. Melinda has studied with a number of local and regional artists and is a member of the Muddy River Art Association and Carolina Painters’ Guild. Her works have been displayed in various establishments in Winston-Salem including Salemtowne Retirement Community and the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, and at Island Art Gallery in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
