Biography

Krystal Smith is a 2016 graduate from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore Maryland, with a BFA in Illustration. She is also the recipient of multiple awards, including a Society of Illustrators scholarship in 2016. She has had work shown in Florida, North Carolina, and New York. Her nature-themed artwork is often intended to be both accurate and educational as well as decorative and appealing. She hopes that her art will encourage people to value and respect the natural world they reside in. Since 2016, she has been a graphic designer for Wisdom House Books where she designs and illustrates books of various genres.
