Biography
Background Grew up in rural Tennessee and North Carolina; Currently resides in High Point Worked around wood and woodworking entire life In 2005, began pursuit of a passion in woodturning Member of the American Association of Woodturners & AAW chapter Piedmont Triad Woodturner�s Association. Materials Primarily use rough, green wood which is selectively salvaged; NC hardwoods - felled by storms, or removed based on need or for clearing of land Provides unique items which are functional and/or decorative; revealing the hidden beauty from the interior of a tree that would otherwise be burned mulched or left to rot Current Work Ranges from small items like ornaments and bottle stoppers to many different sizes of bowls, natural edge items and hollow vessels I am continually learning and trying new things. When you see my work, don�t hesitate to pick it up; I pride myself in a superior, high quality finish on all of my items - I think you�ll be able to see and feel the difference!
