Biography

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC I have always had a love for the arts. I received a BA in Art Education from UNC Greensboro and now teach at RJ Reynolds Arts Magnet High School.

Biannually I create large art installations on campus with the students--a winter wonderland and a spring yarn installation. A Plein Air painting hiking trip occurs yearly, and I also create a dance flash mob for the freshman class.

I am the coordinator of an Artist & Craftsman group at Awake Church in Winston. There I paint live during worship services solo or with a learner (young or old!). This group also facilitates hands-on workshops for the community.
