About Creative Soul…
Jo Ayn Stovall – Artist/designer of one-of-a-kind hand painted glass/stemware and recently added a line of hand crafted crocheted earrings, is a native New Yorker and resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina since 1996.

Wife, mother, grandmother, classically trained dancer (student of the Juilliard School in NYC); part time musician (violist with the Salem Community Orchestra) and marathon runner, finds great pleasure in creating her unique style of hand painted glasses.

The idea came about while vacationing in Florida with her family, when she stopped into a small boutique and saw a painted wine glass.  The thought came to mind that that was a great idea, thus provoking the creative process.  Jo Ayn began experimenting with different mediums, patterns and colors until she found her niche.  Soon, she began crafting her glasses for friends/family and giving them as gifts.  The glasses were well received and before long, through word of mouth, here glasses were sought after for weddings, birthday and holiday gifts.  With the encouragement of her inner network of family and friends, Jo Ayn began actively marketing and selling her wares; thus Creative Soul was launched. In addition to her one-of-a-kind hand painted glass/stemware, she has recently added a line of hand crafted crochet earrings.  These earrings vary in size, shape and textures to create a style that is truly unique.   Once again, her earrings were well received, and subsequently added to Creative Soul’s collection.
