Biography

Although I am making my North Carolina début as an artist I am no stranger to this state. I was born in NC, grew up here, briefly taught school and operated an interior decorating business here. I am returning to North Carolina after living and working in New Jersey, and a few other states. Before laying my visual arts creations aside while teaching and working in the corporate world, I exhibited my work mainly in New Jersey and other Mid-Atlantic states.

As a decorative artist I want to go beyond creating an art piece to helping people create a vision for their home through art, and hopefully - some of my art. The fine artist side of me explores themes prevalent in education, society and in being human.

I am focused on mixed media, using a diversity of materials such as: specialty papers, cut-outs, paint, printmaking techniques, textiles, and photographic imagery.

I sell one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces and Giclée prints.
