Biography

I make soldered glass jewelry and gift items. I've been soldering for about two years. The pieces I make are bits of ephemera, vintage images, and found objects framed in hand cut glass, sometimes by themselves or sometimes put together to make original collage pieces. In the spirit of recycling/upcycling, my glass is scraps that I salvage from local framing shops. As a professional horticulurist, the themes of my pieces are very often inspired by nature. I also love mid-century design, illustrations, and images which is reflected in my work as well.
