AFAS is offering non-instructional Life Drawing sessions to artists of all skill levels. A “life drawing” is a drawing of the human figure from observation of a live model. The degree of detail can range from anatomically correct to loose and expressive sketches. Each session will include a series of short gesture drawings and several longer poses. The class will draw from the human figure, nude and at various stages of dress. This is your opportunity to work on and refine your skills or develop new ones. A facilitator will keep time for poses. A break will be included.
Bring drawing pad/paper, etc. and medium: charcoal, pencil, ink, pastels, etc. AFAS will provide easels, chairs, tables.
Must be 18 or older to participate. Limited to 20 participants.

Date: Ongoing Wednesdays in October starting October 10th
